The Training of Child Psychotherapists

  • About

    By Margaret Lowenfeld

The Institute of Child Psychology was founded in 1928, under the name of the Children’s Clinic, at 10 Telford Road, London, W.10. Its purpose was to provide out-patient treatment for children suffering from disturbances of their emotional, educational or physical development, or from social maladjustment. In 1929 the Children’s Clinic was recognised by the education authorities, and the usual machinery of a voluntary hospital was created.
